of Port Douglas. The avid walker can stride the length of Wonga Beach to the mouth of the Daintree River.
At it's southern entrance, Wonga Beach Community Park, fronts the beach and has a free gas BBQ, shelter sheds with tables and bench seating and toilets. These facilities are cleaned every morning.
