How do I get to Daintree Massage?

Is Daintree Massage sign-posted?  Yes.  The Daintree Massage sign is above the entrance on the corner of Marlin Drive and Janbal Street.

Can I get a health fund rebate?  Some health funds allow rebates for massage therapy.  Check with you Fund to see if it applies to you and Denise will issue an official receipt for you to forward on to your Fund.

If a friend/partner comes with me is there somewhere for them to wait?
Yes, there is a sitting area in the garden of Daintree Massage studio where your partner/friend can relax and read.  Or they might like to take a stroll along the beach just a one minute walk from the studio.

Can a child/teenager have a massage?  Yes.  Denise has a Government
issued Positive Notice Blue Card for working with children.

How early can I make an appointment?  Appointments can be made
commencing at 8am. 

How late in the day can I make an appointment?  The last appointment of the day starts at 5pm. 

Which days is Daintree Massage open?  7 days a week.

Why arrive 5 minutes early for my appointment?  Arriving 5 minutes early allows you time for completing your Details Form or, updating your details on subsequent visits.  Your Details' Form is keep confidential and stored in a locked filing cabinet.

What should I wear to my appointment?  Loose comfortable/casual  clothing.  There may be traces of oil on your body after the massage.
Ideally you should not shower immediately after a massage as the oils,
especially essential oils, are still working on and into your body.

Will I be left in privacy to disrobe?  Yes.  Denise will leave the room while you disrobe and get on the massage table, covering yourself with a fresh towel.  Denise will knock on the door before re-entering the room.  Should you need assistance in getting on or off the table, Denise will help you while maintaining your dignity with appropriate draping.

To what level do I disrobe?  The norm is down to your briefs.
Appropriate draping is used at all times to maintain you dignity.

Which body areas are not massaged?  The breast and genital areas are not massaged.  The abdominal area is only massaged with your consent.

How do I gain the maximum benefit from my massage?  At the start of your massage take a few deep and slow breaths, let your mind wander to pleasant thoughts.

Does massage hurt?  Massage should be a pleasant experience.  However, with deep tissue massage there may be a certain degree of pain because of
massaging deeper into the muscle tissues.  Let Denise know if you are
experiencing discomfort.
